Led by SURGE AMBIENTAL and VALORIZA (SACYR Group) and together with seven companies from the Community of Madrid. This project is born with the goal to develop innovative solutions to increase the circularity, traceability and purity of mineral resources found in Construction and Demolition Waste (CDW), and so make an eco-efficient manufacturing of new construction products.The budget for the project amounts to more than 5 million euros and will have a duration of 2 years.

In this project also participates ALLGAIER MOGENSEN, ADCORE, SIKA, SODIRA, HORMICRUZ, KOLOKIUM y GBCe (Green Building Council España) and furthermore, they have support from the Center for Technological Research and Development TECNALIA, which is part of the Eduardo Torroja Institute of Construction Sciences IETcc and from the of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid UAM.

VALREC is a subsidized project within the framework of the call for aid from the year 2020, to contribute to the improvement of public-private cooperation in R&D in areas of strategic importance for the Madrid economy on driving projects prepared by Open Innovation Nuclei (HUBS of Innovation) within the Regional Research Strategy for Smart Specialization (RIS3), and it is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the ERDF Operational Program for the Community of Madrid for the period 2014-2020.
