The Challenge:
The challenge involved the screening of fine granulometry at a high temperature. The processing of materials with diverse particle sizes required regular readjustment of the screening equipment leading to multiple line stops and loss of efficiency.

After reviewing the properties and characteristics of the processed materials, and the challenges faced during operation, ALLGAIER engineers suggested the MOGENSEN Sizer SEL as a compact and flexible screening solution.
The MOGENSEN Sizer SELscreen made in high quality AISI 316 stainless steel, utilizes a quick mesh change system compatible with all necessary classifications, helping to minimize line stops and downtime.
An efficient material spread is achieved by two vibrators which results in a linear movement that counteracts blinding of the screens and loosens and stratifies the feed material.
The innovative design of the MOGENSEN SEL allows for a flexible configuration and can separate sizes of around 0.1-30 mm. However, it can handle larger input dimensions.
The Outcome:
The introduction of the MOGENSEN Sizer SEL was able to successfully minimize the number of line stops and improved overall processing efficiency.
